Your Input Sought on 6th Grade Electives!

JAMS Principal Paula Montgomery and the Parent Core Team are seeking input from families heading to JAMS in the next few years about 6th grade electives. Please keep in mind that this does not impact students entering 7th and 8th grade.

What's this about?

The new Jane Addams Middle School will open in September 2014. This blog is a place for parents to come together in a positive and constructive way to talk about what we want for our kids in that school.

Here's the idea: you email us at janeaddamsmsblog@gmail.com or enter a comment to a blog post and tell other parents what is most important to you in the offerings, administration, culture, and facilities of JAMS. We aggregate points of view about different aspects of the school design, put up posts, and allow the conversation to continue.

This is a narrowly defined blog. It is about planning JAMS and facilitating community engagement. It is offered by parent volunteers. This is not a place to discuss school district policies, personalities, or politics. It is a place for constructive civil discourse.
