How our tag cloud works

Wondering about that tag cloud at the top of the blog page? Each post here will have one or more tags that help us sort out what we all think is most important for JAMS. The more times a tag is used, the bigger the tag label appears in the tag cloud. Visual voting, essentially!

What's this about?

The new Jane Addams Middle School will open in September 2014. This blog is a place for parents to come together in a positive and constructive way to talk about what we want for our kids in that school.

Here's the idea: you email us at janeaddamsmsblog@gmail.com or enter a comment to a blog post and tell other parents what is most important to you in the offerings, administration, culture, and facilities of JAMS. We aggregate points of view about different aspects of the school design, put up posts, and allow the conversation to continue.

This is a narrowly defined blog. It is about planning JAMS and facilitating community engagement. It is offered by parent volunteers. This is not a place to discuss school district policies, personalities, or politics. It is a place for constructive civil discourse. We reserve the right to delete off-topic or abusive comments without warning or comment.
